Lodging Policies

Lodging rates at Wild Eagle Lodge vary based on the dates and availability at our resort.

We urge you to contact our reservationists directly at 877-945-3965 or use our Online Reservation System to check availability and rates for your preferred dates.

We also welcome email inquiries at info@wildeaglelodge.com.


We are currently following the recommendations from the CDC, State, and Local governments on the best cleaning practices for the rooms and common areas on the resort. We do ask that all guests practice social distancing and stay with your family group when on the resort grounds or common areas. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Reservation Terms and Policies

  • Check-in is after 4:00 PM
  • Check out is before 9:00 AM (11AM during Quiet Season – off peak)
  • NO SMOKING in lodge homes
  • NO PETS ALLOWED for the comfort and safety of all our guests.
  • A reservation deposit of 1 night or 30% is required. Visa, Master Card, Discover, AMEX, traveler’s checks, personal checks and cash are accepted for payment.
  • Minimum stays, and week long stays may be required at peak times.
  • UPON ARRIVAL, a valid Visa, Master Card, AMEX, or Discover card must be presented as security for damages and house charges.
  • A Resort Fee of $20 per night will be charged to every reservation

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival; a $50 cancellation fee is withheld.

Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival; the full deposit amount is non-refundable.

*Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are adjusting our cancellation policies. If you are staying during a time that the state of Wisconsin or the state that you are coming from has an active Stay At Home order, we will either cancel your reservation with a  full refund, move your reservation to another date, or issue you a Gift Certificate good for two years.

If you have a future reservation and have concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic, we will offer you a Gift Certificate for the deposit amount or move your reservation to a later date at no charge. Otherwise our normal cancellation policy applies to all reservations.

Snow-Go Policy

If you are coming up snowmobiling and are on our Snow-Go policy you will have up to 5 days prior to your arrival to cancel your reservations with no penalty if we do not have snow, rental sleds are not being let out, or the Sno-Eagles club has rated our trails in a overall poor or un-rideable condition.

Accommodations include

Basic kitchenware, charcoal grill (removed in winter), dish soap, toilet tissue, bed linens and towel sets.

May 1 – October 15 rentals include dockage for your own boat. A boat landing is on site.  (Note: daily housekeeping, charcoal and consumables are not included.)

Pack-n-plays, high chairs and marina rentals.


Can we check in early?

Check in is at 4PM and we do not guarantee check-in before that time. If you arrive early, we will allow you to check-in only if your condo is ready, but this will not change the order in which your unit is cleaned.

Can we get late check-out?

Check out is 9AM during peak season, 11AM off season. Please call the Front Desk for current check-out time. We do not approve any late check-outs until the day of departure, and even then it is not guaranteed.

Will my condo receive daily tidy service?

Daily housekeeping is not provided

What does my condo include?

Condos have two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, dining room, patio set, gas fireplace, and a charcoal grill. We provide linens and towels and a limited supply of starter toiletries, tissue, and kitchen items. Charcoal and lighter fluid is not supplied.

Can I bring my own boat or recreational vehicle?

Yes! We have dock space available and are on the ATV/UTV trail and only a few hundred feet from the snowmobile trails. We have trailer parking.

How far are you from Eagle River?

We are 3 miles north on highway 45.

Do you have elevators?

No, all entrances are on the exterior of the buildings, and second floor units have stairways leading to the units. Those with mobility issues should make it known to a reservation specialist that a ground floor unit is required at the time a reservation is confirmed.

Do you allow pets?

No, we don’t allow pets in our units or on our property. Specifically trained service dogs are allowed, please provide us with prior notification.

Do you allow smoking?

We do not allow smoking in our condos.

Do you have laundry on the facilities? - Most Units

Do you have Wi-Fi?

We do have Wi-Fi in the condos. It is password protected, and we will supply the password at check-in.

Do you have cable?

We have cable service provided for by Charter. In addition, each unit has a DVD player.

Do you allow weddings and other special events?

Yes we do! Please contact us and check out the events pages.

What is the resort fee?

The resort fee is an obligatory fixed nightly charge that covers a variety of amenities here at the resort. We have many amenities supplied at the resort year-round. Feel free to visit our amenities page to see what all is offered.

Do you have a minimum night stay requirement?

We have a two night minimum year round with a three night minimum during the summer and other high demand times. Certain units may have longer minimums.

Are the condos for sale?

Each condo is individually owned, and many of the owners have their units listed. Check out our Real Estate page for more information.

Do you allow long-term stays?

Generally, we do not allow rentals by the month.

Will we see a bald eagle?

There are quite an abundance of bald eagles in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and you can see them flying overhead, perched in a tree over the side of a road, or guarding their nests on the chain of lakes.
